The Sabres have seemed to turn things around since their 3-12-2 start, winning 10 of their past 13 games. That includes a season-high four in a row, a run that was extended with last nights 5-4 shootout triumph over the Ottawa Senators. Matt Moulson had a goal in regulation and netted the lone goal of the shootout, while Jhonas Enroth posted 29 saves through overtime. He then stopped Ottawas first two skaters before Bobby Ryans last chance for the Sens rang off the goalpost. Marcus Foligno and Brian Flynn each had a goal and an assist, while Rasmus Ristolainen also lit the lamp. This group of guys is starting to believe in themselves, Sabres head coach Ted Nolan said. We were down and found a way to fight back. The Sabres fought back despite losing Torrey Mitchell to a lower body injury as he was hurt blocking a shot. In response, the club recalled forward Mikhail Grigorenko, the 12th overall pick of the 2012 draft, from the minors. Buffalo has won six in a row at home and will try to record its first five- game winning streak since March 19-27, 2012. However, the Sabres have lost all four of their trips to Winnipeg since the Jets relocated there from Atlanta and five in a row as the guesst in this series overall.dddddddddddd Buffalo also has lost eight of its past nine to Winnipeg, including a 2-1 setback at home on Nov. 26. Enroth made 24 saves, while Ondrej Pavelec stopped 19 shots. Michal Neuvirth is in line to start for the Sabres tonight and is 6-2-1 in his career versus the Jets with a 2.74 goals against average and .918 save percentage. Bryan Little and Michael Frolik had the goals in the win over the Sabres, a victory that was part of an eight-game point streak (5-0-3) that the Jets had snapped with Saturdays 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. Little had a power-play goal and Michael Hutchinson made 27 saves for the Jets, who were coming off a shootout loss to Colorado two nights prior. The Ducks took control of the game with a three-goal second period. In the second period we knew where we were supposed to be, but we didnt close fast enough, Jets coach Paul Maurice said. The difference in the game was there was very little indecision in their game. It doesnt take much for it to look like there is indecision in our game against a team with that kind of speed. We just didnt drive legs hard enough fast enough to take away ice, and they are very good at that. Winnipeg lost the opener of a four-game homestand and Ondrej Pavelec may get the start tonight. He is 7-3-2 in his career versus the Sabres with a 2.27 GAA and .925 save percentage. ' ' '
