Rory McIlroy returns to this weeks Wells Fargo Championship as defending champion, looking to replicate last years record-breaking triumph and build on his strong record at Quail Hollow.McIlroy claimed the first of his 11 PGA Tour wins at the tournament in 2010 and went on to post three consecutive top-10 finishes in the event from 2012 before his seven-shot triumph last season.Last time around, the Northern Irishman came to North Carolina in impressive form having followed victory at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play with a top-eight finish at the Players Championship.
